"Don't you want to belong to something bigger than you?" Universal has unveiled a new international trailer today for Kick-Ass 2, the sequel to Matthew Vaughn's adaptation of the comic book series Kick Ass. A few weeks ago we featured the very first red band trailer for this follow-up, reuniting Kick-Ass, played by Aaron Taylor-Johnson, with Hit-Girl, played by Chloe Moretz, and some newcomers like Jim Carrey. This trailer, which is under 2 mins, focuses almost entirely on Hit-Girl and her life at high school now that she's growing up. I love the direction they're taking this sequel, and honestly I'm excited to see it. Try to have fun!

Here's the second international trailer for Jeff Wadlow's Kick-Ass 2, originally found on YouTube:

Here's the red band version of this same Kick-Ass 2 trailer, added if you want to watch instead:

After Kick Ass' (Aaron Taylor-Johnson) insane bravery inspires a new wave of self-made masked crusaders, led by the badass Colonel Stars and Stripes (Jim Carrey), our hero joins them on patrol. When these amateur superheroes are hunted down by Red Mist (Christopher Mintz-Plasse), reborn as The Mother Fucker, only the blade-wielding Hit Girl (Chloe Moretz) can prevent their annihilation. Donalid Faison, John Leguizamo, Morris Chestnut and more also star in Kick-Ass 2, the comic book sequel based on the series by Mark Millar. The sequel is slated to hit theaters a bit later this summer on August 16th. Better?
