There's an "extended preview" featurette going around the web for Pixar's Monsters University, the prequel coming up this summer. It has been shown before (at conventions like D23 last year) but since it's now online, it's worth seeing. The video features director Dan Scanlon introducing the story, concept, updates and other details for Monsters University, bringing back the beloved characters Mike and Sulley for an adventure set at Monsters University. The way he describes it, it's pretty much exactly like an Animal House knock off, but within the Monsters universe, which should be incredibly fun. I can't wait to see this!

Here's the extended preview featurette for Pixar's Monsters University found by Animation Fascination:

A look at the relationship between monsters Mike (voiced by Billy Crystal) and Sulley (voiced by John Goodman) during their days at the University of Fear -- when they weren't necessarily the best of friends.

Pixar's Monsters University is being directed by Dan Scanlon, who went from animator to storyboard artist to writer to co-director on Mater and the Ghostlight, making his feature directorial debut.
