Just yesterday, Captain America: The Winter Soldier gained a new villain in the form of Crossbones, who will be played by Warrior and Gangster Squad star Frank Grillo. Now Steve Rogers (Chris Evans) gets some back-up to handle this new villain as Variety has learned that Samuel L. Jackson, Scarlett Johansson and Cobie Smulders will reprise their respective roles as Nick Fury, Black Widow and Agent Maria Hill. It's not clear how extensive their roles will be, but since Captain America no longer has his military buddies to help him take on The Winter Soldier, he needs a team of S.H.I.E.L.D. agents to help him.

I suppose Crossbones could easily be working with The Winter Soldier. One role we're still waiting to get confirmed is that of Sharon Carter which has had actresses like Imogen Poots, Alison Brie, Teresa Palmer and Jessica Findlay-Brown have been considered, but directors Anthony and Joe Russo haven't made their final decision. The project begins shooting in March in Cleveland, and if you're looking to stalk Captain America, the not-so-secret production title is Freezerburn. Captain America: The Winter Soldier heads to theaters on April 4th, 2014.
